Hi! I'm Diego — Professional PADI Scuba Diving Instructor and Full Cave Diver with a deep love for the ocean and the extraordinary underwater world of Tulum & Playa del Carmen. I founded Freeway Scuba Diving to share that passion through private, fully personalized diving excursions — each one tailored to the individual needs of every diver, generating a unique and unforgettable experience.
Freeway Scuba Diving is a boutique dive center based in the heart of Tulum, specializing in cenote diving and reef diving tours across the Riviera Maya — Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel. Managed and personally operated by its founder, every dive is delivered with direct attention, local expertise, and a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and personalized service.
We're not a walk-in dive shop. We work exclusively in small groups, with top-quality equipment and full attention to safety and comfort on every dive.
From Tulum's breathtaking cenotes to Cozumel's world-famous reefs and the Great Mesoamerican Reef, every dive is tailored to your skill level and goals. We also offer PADI courses for every level, from Discovery Scuba Diving for beginners to Open Water and Advanced certification, designed around each student's pace and needs.
